StoneGate IPS-400 Intrusion Prevention System is a proactive defense system designed to detect malicious packets within regular network traffic and prevent intrusions by blocking harmful traffic automatically before any damage occurs.

With 100 Mbit/s capacity, StoneGate IPS-400 is designed for small branch offices. Appliance features both sensor and analyzer functionalities, giving flexible protection for environments requiring ultimate ease of usage.

StoneGate IPS-400 appliance has one bypass interface pair for segmentation and two standard Ethernet interfaces to be used as capture interface for intrusion detection. One Ethernet Interface is needed for StoneGate Management traffic.

Combined with any StoneGate Firewall, IPS-400 forms a multi-dimensional defense system, where several security layers communicate seamlessly together. This field-proven technology expands comprehensive protection to the whole network and raises network protection to a previously unseen level.
